I'm for sure not going to be the end all, be all of sites for home automation so here are some other sites that I have visited.Stores:
- X10 - X10's website. So far, this is where I have purchased all of my X10 items.
- SMARTHOME - This site sells a lot of home automation stuff including a LOT of X10 stuff. I hear their prices are good but I've not purchased anything there yet.
Informational:
- Home Automation Knowledge Base - This site is a little confusing to navigate through, but the content on it is priceless. Some very cool stuff is on this site.
- Scott Crevier's Home Automation - This site actually doesn't have a lot of information, but the guy has a pretty good sense of humor.
- Home Automation Index - This site is a huge list of various sites and documents related to home automation. It's worth taking a look.
Software:
- BottleRocket - A Linux/UNIX program that allows you to control a FireCracker module.
- Lighter2 - My program that I wrote. It's really the only program I use, so I felt it fair if not biased to put it up here.
