Welcome to Zolan's Lair
Hello all friends and newcomers!
There could be a handful of reasons why you are visiting my site.
Presently 4 domains point to this specific site. So here's my quick list of what you 'might' be looking for.
- Software Section - In case you are looking for software I'm responsible for.
- Documentation and Howtos - My wiki is a good place to find some howto's.
- Writing Section - This section is for articles and general other stuff I've written not necessarily computer related.
- Zolanism & The Zolanites - A group of people that follow my ministry. We are part of and fall under the umbrella of the Universal Life Church. Though some of our doctrine has some 'odd' entries you are still 100% fully allowed to believe however you want and are welcome to bring your ideas to the rest of the group.
- Wedding Service - Just in case you want to get married in the Portland/Vancouver area and don't have much money to spend.
- Sub-Site Section - Sometimes I get bored with my standard site so I make a subsite for stuff like Home Automation and Geek Howtos (Funny stuff, not what you are probably expecting.)
If you are stumbling to my site because you know me or found me on a search
engine, then you can just use the navigation bars on the side, or the top.
For those of you visiting my site because you got curious about me due to the 10 year high school reunion, you can find more info about me on my
"What's Jerry been up to since High School in a nutshell?" page.
If you have read this far and still want to know about me, I'd encourage you to
read the rest of this page, then go to my page all about
myself. How narcissistic is that?! Just to give you an idea, I was overly ecstatic that I won the
Geek Of The Week title!
I have recently put up this page because I'm trying to get in touch with long lost friends and acquaintances. So please, check the
People I'm Looking For page and see if you are listed.
Speaking of looking for people, I recently had a friend pass away in a car accident and I'm looking for his family members and people that might have some stories I can put on his memorial website I made. His name was
Michael Cribbins. Last known address was in Yoncalla, Oregon. Please if you know him, share your stories so I can add them to the site.
As for my site design, I've done some fun stuff. The page is completely
Valid XHTML 1.1, and
Valid CSS2. Since everything is controlled via CSS I made my site capable of having
Themes. I also suggest you to go choose a
theme as my default theme rotates daily and can be quite unsettling to someone that fears change.
I also 'not very activly at the moment' maintain another site that someone reading this might be interested in.
Geek Inventions was started because
I have been working on an automated bartender and thought other geeks may want
a place to share ideas about gadgets and electronics projects. So far it's
had minimal traffic, but it still has some cool info anyway, so check it out.
I also have a new website dedicated to finding the
meanings (kind of) of songs along that I run with my friend Darryl. So check out the fairly new
Song Crossfire site! The site is dedicated to making some serious, or at least seriously wacked out, or even seriously hilarious
song interpretations.
My final set of links are to family and loved ones. First of all, my wife's website is
Neerol's Domain (http://www.neerol.com) And then one of my latest projects has been building my Uncle's website
Butler Metal Designs (http://www.butlermetaldesigns.com/). He has a very cool metal working business, check it out.
One last thing. I have recently had a customer service problem with a company named
GB Manchester Corporation and wrote a rant about it if anyone cares.
Note: Unless you choose a specific theme for my website, the default changes daily, so if you fear change, and want to always see the same theme you have to chose one from my
Change Theme page.
