Thor.pl 1.0
Thor.pl is a basic IDS (Intrusion Detection System) that checks most of the major things that can change on a system as a result of someone doing something bad. At the time of writing it, I learned a lot about security and about programming. Thor.pl was one of my first programs I had written in perl many years ago. Since then, of course, I have learned much and found out how baddly written it was. But, oddly enough, I still have requests for this program. And still get comments about how it helped people track down what an intruder did. You can get the copy that people normally use here. It's called Thor.pl 1.0.

Thor.pl 1.9
Since then I re-wrote most of Thor. It's not complete but it's much better than 1.0 so if you are interested in joining me on finishing the development just send me an email at jerry@linuxscripts.com. You can download the almost finished copy of Thor.pl 1.9 here.

Oden.pl 1.0
Oden is a monitoring program along the same idea as NetSaint. I only have it posted here because at the time of writing it I was rather proud of it. It in no way holds a candle to NetSaint, nor do I think it should be used. However, if someone took some time to help me with it, we could rewrite it as a learning project. Nabou
This is not software that I wrote but its on this page because this is a program inspired by Thor. Unbeknownst to me, Tom Linden thought I had fallen off the face of the earth and started maintaining the code. Since then it was completely redesigned, but I suggest that if you are in need of an IDS you use this instead of Thor. You can find Nabou here.
