3D Printing

3D printing is a fun and extremely frustrating hobby. There will be times where you want to jump for joy. There will be times that you want to toss the printer out the window, run outside with some spray paint, draw a pentagram around it and send it back to the fiery hells where it belongs. Most of the time you'll love it though.

Zolan's Printers

I have a Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2. It is modded like crazy and I have so much fun stuff to share about all of the fun things I've learned and done.

Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2

Here is information specific to the Wanhao Duplicator i3. This information also applies to the the following printers which are re-brands of the Wanhao Duplicator i3.

These printers are: Maker Select, Cocoon Create, Gembird 3DP-i3V2-01, Balco 3D Printer, and Hyperion Forge 3D.

There is also a clone of the Wanhao Duplicator i3 v1. Same frame, cheaper components. It is the Malyan M150.

Note: Almost all of this my information regarding these printers will work from version 1 to version 2.1. Most of the information will work for the 'Plus' version but in cases where I know the information will not translate to a specific model I will do my best to point that out.

Monoprice Maker Select Plus

Here is information specific to the MP Maker Select Plus. This printer is a rebrand of the Wanhao Duplictor i3 Plus.

Monoprice Select Mini

Here is information specific to the Monoprice Select Mini. This printer is a rebrand of the Wanhao Duplictor i3 Mini.

This printer came in 3 different versions. V1 had no heated bed. V2 had a heated bed. I know very little about V3 unfortunately.

There are also other rebrands of this printer but the only one I can remember as of this writing is the Malyan M200 which came in at least V1 and V2 versions.

Guides

I have a handful of things that I feel like I am frequently sharing on the Facebook Wanhao i3 user group. Instead of typing them over and over again I figured it would actually work better to write them up really nicely once and just share the link.
